Introduction
The IRIS Tech Club recently hosted an engaging two-day seminar tailored specifically for first-year students. Held on February 27th and March 4th, this induction program was carefully designed to introduce fresh minds to the core fundamentals of software and hardware technologies.
Introduction Session
The event kicked off with a welcoming address by Bhoomika. She set the stage for the eager listeners by outlining the core vision of IRIS, explaining how the seminar would provide a foundational stepping stone for the attendees in their respective technological journeys.

Software Session
Led by Bhoomika, Niyas, and Ganesha, the software segment demystified the essentials of computer programming. Hardware Session
Transitioning from code to physical components, Ashlesh KD and Nithin spearheaded the hardware discussion. They provided a dynamic perspective on computer architecture, explaining the critical functions of various hardware components and illustrating exactly how they synergize with software to create robust, functioning systems.
Scratch Programming Session
To ensure the core concepts were not entirely theoretical, Karthik and Bhushan facilitated an interactive Scratch programming session. This visual approach to coding allowed students to engage in hands-on learning, making logic formulation both intuitive and incredibly fun for absolute beginners.
Quiz Session
Learning was seamlessly blended with friendly competition during the quiz session, successfully hosted by Basavaraj and Chandana. This interactive segment tested the students' grasp of the day's topics, sparking enthusiastic participation and reinforcing the material covered in earlier sessions.
Second Session (March 4th)
The momentum continued seamlessly on March 4th with the same dedicated team members returning to reinforce the concepts introduced on day one.
